The last Fox body I did with a Chevy engine used a factory oil pan, headers for a Nova....and two wires.

It got 18 miles to the gallon and ran low 7s in the 1/8.

Try that with an LS motor...

Speaking of GNX and other hot cars has anyone watched “Fasted Car” on Netflix? Elliott and I have been watching them. Every episode is 3. “sleeper” cars and a super ca competing in a 1/4 mile drag race. Have been some interesting cars for sure.

They ruin the show with total twatwaffle people.
Towards the last couple shows I fast forwarded to the race.

I know what you mean, don’t approve of many of the characters but use that as a chance for positive role modelling for Elliott. I does a great job of reminding us all that lawyers are douche bags to the nth degree.

In my best "damn yankee" voice. You know a cast crank ain't gonna take no 7100 rpm. LOL

It’s all in the balancing.. And I balanced it for rpm. It ran a season typically pulling 6,800-6,900 on the straights and saw over 7,300 on the dyno before I was done testing/tuning. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again now.
