Well would ya look at this crafty mfer!!
My grandpas cousin called a wood wedge like that a "glutt".
They used to make and use those a lot when cutting.
Was usually made from whatever you just felled, to take pressure off a buck or a heavy limb to get it all to the ground for easy bucking.

That he actually got a husky to stay running long enough to cut two trees down?
Maybe he knows how to make a chainsaw run, and how to sharpen the "blade" on it to boot? ;)
Might not know how many coats of wax and which pattern and technique gets the best shine though...

I usually have a few I made out of dogwood. Was just planning on cutting our trail into these dead trees....so I didn't bring any. Got the trail cut quicker than I thought, so the dead trees had to go.
What are you gonna do with that nice piece of Poplar?

I used the special font, soin's everybody would know I was joking round. :)

Yes Randy knows how to make saws run very well. He's never sent me any blades yet, but I'm sure they are sharp!

I’m guessing she’s asleep
I’m at work
How’s you slacker
Just got home.
Going up to fix some fence and do some chores for dad, since hes on "mom detail", and cant leave her.
Heading down south tomorrow night to fix a few things for the sister-in-laws, then off to try to help the nephew get that worn out bucket truck he bought for scrap price as far as it will go.
Hopefully, we will get it back home.
Prayers needed.:zpong:

I dint have muh glasses on, so i dint notice...
Thats a BIG pile of shiny saws!
Most of mine are old, tired, and dirty.View attachment 371886

I used to have a pro mac 850. I bought it from the original owner, I ended up trading it off to another forum member for a ms440.

I really liked how it sounded, nice deep rumble to it. Kinda wish I would of kept it. It was a nice one.

I also had a gear drive mac for a while, but forget what number it was. I would have to dig threw old pics.

This is the 850 I had.
