You have my sincere condolences, I will be praying for you, during this difficult time.

If you need me to ease your heavy burdens, just let me know, I will even kick in a little on the shipping costs for that 462....

Thanks for the offer, but not a chance! This is my first ported saw - and I intend to hang onto it a long time!

What would you charge me to make a couple for me
Looks like it works great

I'm not really looking to sell anything. You can buy really nice professionally made in the USA ones from several places. Much fancier than what I made with nicer wraps and whipping, tested and certified.

For example:

I just made my own because I know how, and I wanted really long ones to go front to back through a receiver hitch or around a small tree, or other large attachment point. The normal size ones aren't big enough to do that and I've found it frustrating sometimes. Having a really long shackle solves that problem for me.

Because they're so long (more than twice the normal length) and I used made in the USA materials, I put about $75 total into materials for those two. Smaller diameter rope or shorter length would've cost me a lot less, but I wanted something that would never break under my uses.

You can PM me if you want to chat. Maybe I can teach you how to make one?

Evening men and @dall . Looks like another *s-wordty weather weekend on the way. Good thing there's work to do in the shop.

I'm hoping for 2 hours without rain tomorrow to finish up some outside work. I think we might get it midday. But yeah, the rest of the day is a washout.

I was hoping to get some yard work done too. If we do get that short dry period I'd like to seed the bank above the barn at least.

Pollen has been covering everything here for the last month.
We have to run the wifes truck thru the carwash every 3 days to keep the pollen from caking up on it.
We have one of those carwashes that charge 20.oo a month for unlimited washes and free vacs so keeping a newer truck clean is easy.

The trucks are getting washed more often than my old ass.

We had pine pollen for 2 weeks then the oak pollen started maybe in another week we can stop blowing green snot.
Doubtful.
Then the Privet hedge.
Wisteria kicks my arse badly.
Magnolias. Damn I hate those things...

Not sure what variety of Kiwi-tree that was, but it appears you made it your bish.
I cannot professionally condone your choice of safety footwear, but personally, I have cut in the same garb...
Chips between the toes are a bit irritating.
See orange topped class 2 boots in pic1.
