Afternoon flag aficionados. Scored a spare 4l60e trans for the truck for the excellent price of free hundred and fifty free. Spare parts are always nice to have. Friend of mine bought a lower mileage 5.3 drivetrain out of a 2004 silverado to use in a K10 project and he's using a 4l80e. Said trans is yours if you want a spare. Didn't have to tell me twice. Might get the cathedral port heads off the same lower mileage motor as he already has a set of built heads he's using. Im getting the itch to build a nice little 5.3 for the truck now. Nothing stupid. Just something with a little bump in power and a nice cam to replace the tired 5.3 thats in the truck now plus who doesn't like the sound of a nice cam
