Good morning, you lot of past-your-prime culls.
I'd be getting a small blast pot and taking my time spot blasting the rusty areas. No reason to do the whole car for a few trouble spots.Morning, hope you bishes are all well. I've started disassembling the Skylark, got all the glass out, most of the trim off. This car has a lot of California Sunburn surface rust, so I'm trying to come up with ways to remove it. I did a test area with SEM Rust Mort on the passenger side of the package tray and you can see it looks much better than the drivers side.

Chemical dipping the body would be awesome but it is expensive, nearby place charges about $3k for a body shell. Media blasting is messy and labor intensive. I've heard about these mobile dustless blasting businesses and that may be an option. Otherwise phosphoric acid and rust converters are probably the way to go.
That’s a little betterLol gotta be careful I don't cook my brain on calculus and forget how to start a saw.
Sorry, I meant Mr. Fucķers.
We can help you decide this: what was yesterday’s lunch?Morning men. Took the day off, unfortunately I'm feeling like a pile of crap. Not sure if it was yesterday's lunch or some sorta bug. No biggie shouldn't last long...

you can do it but there would be alot of smoke breaks lolI agree with that. The outer panels will be easy to strip with a 7 inch sander and 80 grit. I've heard a pressure pot is much better than a gravity feed blaster. I'm not sure I have enough compressor to run it though. I've got a 30 gallon and it makes 6.7 CFM at 40 PSI and 5.1 CFM at 90 PSI.
Galling on a roller isn’t very common, is it?
I'd say it wasn't hardened properlyGalling on a roller isn’t very common, is it?

I've hooked two compressors together with a tee for blasting. Have you got a buddy with another one about the same size as yours?I agree with that. I'm getting all the ads.Randy, I use the free version of Ad Blocker Plus and it seems to do a decent job. With this new host I get a pop up evry page I click but as a gold member you wouldn't get that. On Go Daddy I didn't get a pop up but did get some ads. Steve @exCanuck was doing some kind of black magic with his ads that they still showed with AB+ active.
