Pulled the threads from all 6 bolts...

I have a 2021( I think) truck with an 8 speed out back. 4000 miles ago the trans was apart at a dealer in VA.
Now it's here, slips, flares, won't shift. So I get to take it back apart.

I also have a Buick Envision I have to remove the entire dash to replace the hvac case because the rear temp door is broken inside it.

If you get bored, come on up and I'll put you to work.

When I was at uni the Adult Students seemed so annoying. Sat at the front, asked millions of questions, got upset if you dicked around during group work.

Didn't occur to me til later that it was coz they had so much on the line, adults have adult responsibilities whereas I was just a slacker killing time til I really grew up.

That Buick engine is on a stand covered in plastic for when I get to it. Sometimes I just sit and stare at it.

Check engine light has been on the wife’s Jeep for a bit. Borrowed a scan tool from my neighbor and this is what it came up with.. I’m going to throw a new Thermostat in first, and if that doesn’t fix it, I’ll replace the coolant temp sensor.

Leave the doors off and tell them it's the summer version. Our trucks have pocket doors and I tell people when it gets cold that I need to have the mechanic put the doors back on for winter. Get some strange looks for that one.
