if i was draining antifreeze id only do it once and replace both
I haven’t looked into it far enough yet - where is the coolant temp sensor located on the 3.6 V6 engines?

I’m used to my old school V8’s where the temp sensors are threaded right into intake manifold = no draining required.

My brother has been driving Jeep Grand Cherokees for years and years. He keeps them looking like new, and trades them in every few years.
My parents have owned a few of them. They can be very nice inside with some of the packages. I’m not a comfort features kinda guy though, so they don’t appeal to me. I’d rather just have horsepower, and functionality.

I’ll have to look into it a bit more before I drain the coolant as you stated above. I agree with you that I only want to do that once if necessary.

This 2015 Jeep Wrangler has been a good rig. It’s my wife’s daily driver and it’s got 168,000 on it now. Doesn’t use a drop of oil. In fact, this code is the first we’ve ever had from it.

What's your thoughts on the kid flipping and getting ejected the other night. How is he not dead?
Pretty lucky kid to say the least. A lot of things went his way in that flip for sure. The car of Jake Swanson just hits the cage at the right time to allow him to "slip" out the top of the car and be protected by it. It would be nice for whatever happened to be made public so someone else could learn from it but we are so soft as a society we don't want anybody's feelings to be hurt. The drama from the Chili Bowl and the media about wants to make you puke! I will get off my soap box now...

lol maybe but my choice

Everything is these days.
lol around here it seems they rust out the most and if you remove a bolt or nut from the suspension they are so bad bolt out kit is needed and hardware needs to be replaced
plus my hands are tired of being cut up on the tight areas because they think 1/4 inch clearance is enough
so i refuse to work on them anymore and i dont earn a living doing it so ill leave that to others that like working on them

I've learned to hate them all equally just for the reasons you mentioned, domestic and foreign.

Nothing worse than safety Nazis. I call the safety department, the work prevention department.
