The same thing you did for sure. It makes you wonder why not a pillow block instead they use the rubber disks. Which I think would aggrevate shaft movement in rotation. Only thing good about the disk is it is supposed to fail and tear out on a lock up of a component. It is considered the weak link I believe. It can't do that the way you have it bolted in.

That is the way the joint is on my power steering shaft on my mf90, pickup steering joint and the ih 782 I just sold. Hubs are not bolted together

Mornin' fuel aficionados...48 to 60 and dat's about it.

And par for the course, the Mountaineer talking about holes and shafts over the last few pages...way to spice things up there Dall-liverance.

Good morning fellas. All rain here but looks like our northern fellas are going to get more than 12" of snow. @Stump Shot @redline4 @kurtz @bradb123 @stihl livin
Morning.
A few flakes of snow, then rain and still is. Wind is gusting fairly good as well. The guessers say around six inches of accumulation by tomorrow.
Could be like one of Jason's girlfriends, wet and heavy. Hoping it packs down good and freezes for a good base for the trails. :)

Good morning fellas. Went to breakfast at a local cafe with a couple other loggers I know that didn’t feel like working today in the slop. 35 degrees now and expected to get to 39 by 5.. Debating putting the chains on the skidder today - might just leave ‘em in the pickup for a couple more days for more traction!
