So my youngest daughter has a choir concert tonight.
To simplify things the girls asked if I'd stop at KFC and bring home a bucket of yard bird.
Roll up to the window and I'm told it will be a 20 minute wait on any chicken.
They must have to pluck the sumbitch.

Big Red and i just picked up a 36" Blackstone griddle. Any of you guys like to pass along a few tips to a complete rookie? Plus GFY if needed
I purchased a new 32” griddle in 2020, I coated it with vegetable oil and turned it on high and then left it on adding about 6 more thin coats over the next 30 minutes. Then wipe it down with oil every time you cook. I am not sure how the blackstone’s are built, but my Blue Rhino is open on the bottom, for low heating issues I added a piece of sheet metal to force all the heat upwards. It made a huge difference in even heating, which was an issue prior to adding it.

Pics, the first picture is the sheet metal I added it, prior it was just open to the burners. The shiny pice in the second pic is factory, it was the only part of the griddle that wanted to season correctly prior to adding the piece in the first pick.

For everything else, I use medium low heat for eggs, medium heat for your breakfast meat, high for toast. I use cooking oil for everything except Hibachi, which I use butter, sesame oil and soy sauce. Big and wide metal spatulas are a must for a griddle.

i would never go that fast on a lawn mower lol . Beauty tho

Not my best race, the dry slick tracks favored the guys with less hp.

Raced at a banked, clay kart track for a cancer benefit once.I was the fastest there, cops had me at 74mph on the straights.
Tecumseh V-twin. With a few mods.

Looks like a fun time. Don’t look so scary with the low center of gravity on those either

Afternoon,

Head hurts.

Forgot my &**%#@@$ coffee.
Ain't gonna be smart, better be tough

Change a couple of words and that sounds a lot like my last date night at @dall house.
Admit it, you thought about a good time in America.
