Evening meat Muppets.
Decided I wanted another one of those thick pork chops for dinner.
Making some taters and onions to go with.
Sliced tater, onion, 2 cloves of fresh garden grown garlic, Cavenders Greek seasoning, butter, and a little EVO.
Cover with foil and let go slow on the grill while I have a cold brew.

I got that seasoning too
I like it on stuff like that.
Havent really tried it on chicken.

Try mixing a little A1 sauce and Montreal steak seasoning in your burger meat.
Burgers dont seem to dry out as bad.
Maybe the raisin puree or something in the A1, but it makes a pretty good burger.

hows you slacker
Not a bad day altogether.
Found out dad came down with Covid, but hes doing better today than yesterday.
Mom, who has Parkinson's, doesnt have it yet. They are giving meds to both, since hes having to dress her etc, and cant keep a safe distance.
I'm still standing by in case he gets worse instead of better.
She has to have constant care.

Lawns mowed, lock changed.
Lock turned out to be a missing tooth in the mech, probably not available as a specific part anyway. AM lock was $170, OEM wanted $450. Ah, nuh.
Sad day too. Went to borrow the long handled slasher off Ivan next door. "You might as well keep it now, we're moving to a retirement home end of the year". Him and Yvonne have been the best neighbours for 20 years. I get them firewood and climb in their ceiling hunting leaks, they give us veg and help with engineering stuff. Love them to bits.

Good morning men, got to sleep in to 6:30 this morning. Another beautiful day. Got to lay some hay down yesterday with the cub sickle mower. I understand the charm, but would not recommend if you are in a hurry, or needed to mow large areas. Will use it more to mow under some trees than to make hay, but I needed a hillside mowed, so played!
