Have last years XT2 GX50 which would be hard to compare with what looks like an older base model in the pics there.
However reviews are good if not some of the best for Cub Cadet overall, so there's that. Not sure how they were 17 years ago though.

Thanks for the input, I was going to wait until next year until I saw this one pop up for $1000

Those Tecumseh engines were pretty durable.
Does that one have an oil filter? Some did, some didnt.

No clue on the filter, will need to find out.

Dude removes the factory bumper and the lower grille shutter assembly to install this thing and because the lower shutter is no longer there the check engine light is on.

And according to said *f-wordwad, it's somehow my fault I can't turn the light off...
There should be some type of law that allows bludgeoning of dumb people.

Evening fellas. Bald faced hornet bites/stings hurt like a Mfer. Was out pruning some spruce, felt something, look down and 6 crawling on my thighs. Got welts all over and they chased me half a mile through the woods nearly. Every time I’d stop to catch breath they were right there

I just killed a nest of those bad boys. Black body with a pale yellow almost white body stripes around body.

Before I only had run ins with yellow jackets,
This one hurt significantly more, and much more aggressive. Just a couple days ago actually i witnessed a bald faced hornet catch a fly, land on a leaf near where I was standing, and slowly devour the whole thing, it was “neat” to witness such a rare sight, but dang they are ruthless mfers

I have some of those red wasps, not sure if they are the Russian wasps, can't hear their accent. I hate them, but I leave the mud daubers alone. They capture black widow spiders, as well as other nasties, and that is fine with me. I try not to kill pollinators, but yellow jackets and the Russian red wasps have to go.
