It's time to get started on the second cutting here. I'd love to send you a few wet days in exchange for enough dry ones to get it done.
same here
3 dry days in the last 3 weeks or so
ran excavator some today before the rain but to wet on the bank to even do that

Old coil sprung CJ winch truck I saw on my travels today.

Y'all are slack as.

Thats pretty interesting Mark Adam.:)
Cant see the rear setup, but it does seem to have coil springs up front.
Also has flat fenders.
Like the rear "accent panels" around the corners.
Probably used to hide rust or body damage as we do.:D
Front fender/suspension setup seems like something we would do, and maybe something you fullas did as an upgrade, but maybe they were actually smart enough to make it from the factory?
No way our big 3 would admit that another manufacturer would have a better idea.;)
Thats why Jeeps still had leaf springs at all 4 corners until 1997.
Ferd had coil springs in the mid 70s with a solid front axle.
Chebby, well...they had a solid front axle for a while. Then the floppy arse IFS came out.
Rides great.
Sucks off road.

"Old coil sprung" in the mainstream was pretty much a Ford exclusive, truck-wise, but people been making the upgrade to all sorts of vehicles that needed to get more places since the CJ.

Owner is a very clever fabricator, but play winch trucks don't need ASME level... Both ends on height adjustable coilovers with fabbed centre hung four links. Better side to side articulation I guess. Couldn't see much because grass, but defo an adjustable watts linkage in the rear too.
6 lug axles ain't Heep either.
I'll ask a bit more next time I'm there, didn't want to look like I was casing the joint on my first visit.

Anyone have any thoughts on a Cub Cadet CLT-538 riding lawnmower? There is a 2005 with recent service for sale for a decent price. @Stump Shot Steve you have a CC don’t you?

Have last years XT2 GX50 which would be hard to compare with what looks like an older base model in the pics there.
However reviews are good if not some of the best for Cub Cadet overall, so there's that. Not sure how they were 17 years ago though.

Sorry about your drought Mark. Wish we could send you some rain. We have been very fortunate. We had a dry spell at just the right time for our first cutting. Then we have had great grass weather since. Praying you get a good rain. Hang in there.

Morning/ Evening All.
Too much rain again last night. Haven’t looked for a total but just looking at the water level in the pool it was multiple inches. @hoskvarna Mark, I’d send it all your way if I could. Sump pump going off every 10 or 15 seconds.

That would be awesome Gary [emoji106]
