If you're just taking the ol lady, check out Driftless Glenn Distillery in Baraboo (5-10 minutes from the dells). Damn good eats and old fashions.

Actually staying between the dells and Baraboo.
Kids and dogs along.
We keep trying to get to the Wollershime winery by Sauk City as my wife likes their stuff. Just haven't made it yet.

Evening slackers. Wife is back from her visit up north, blew a left front tire on the way back from the airport. Belt in the tire let go, and the front end started wobbling. Put the spare on 75 south, 5 miles from our exit.

Been a busy week on the farm, hotter than Hades and I cut and raked and baled hay in the hottest June I have ever experienced. I saw @Mastermind with his great temps. We didn't get those. High 90s all week with a couple days above 100. Hay is in, square bales. I don't know how many, 250ish. My counter malfunctioned, but the old 268 ran like a top. I am exhausted, from taking care of the farm, and trying to hay by myself. It is all done and I am going to slack the rest of the weekend.

Had a great father's day, had a great hay harvest, minus the heat. Will not need another cutting. Will just mow to feed the field. Had a great disconnected week, but I missed having this forum. Our internet comes from our home phone, as we are rural and our only options are satellite or cellular. Satellite stinks and is expensive, some tether. I made the wife take the phone. As I have my work phone.

Sorry for the long post, y'all can GFY!

Goodnight.

So so. Use a lot of hand warmers in winter and keep going. Sucks when you can't feel anything with them and you are doing some wrench turning. What is the latest update on your slick finger?
God forbid your hand slip and hit your hand in the cold. That’ll get a fella cussing fast. I like the heat packets my only problem is they are another expense so I try without em

Sometimes it hurts like hell, other times it's just numb.

I've been planning on having another surgery to try to improve it. But I hate to take the time to do it.

My wife has that too. Fingers turn white with no circulation, though hers only happens below 50 degrees. One of the reasons we moved south. Though this past week I was questioning that decision. I have trouble with the heat. I thank God everyday we didn't move to Florida.
