You'll have to retrofit that to a more modern refrigerant unless you can still find the old stuff down there. It's nonexistent here. No R12 to be found.

The older refrigerants operated under a much lower pressure than the new stuff.

First thing right off. I can't say I've ever seen one with factory A/C.

You'll have to retrofit that to a more modern refrigerant unless you can still find the old stuff down there. It's nonexistent here. No R12 to be found.

There split on the right side and go around the motor mount as well as make the starter a pita to get to service if need be.

I may have a factory evaporator ass. and heater core to mount on that firewall. I assume that's an under dash unit?
Don't let Jonathon throw those hubcaps away. Very cool when all cleaned and painted on fresh wheels. Seldom seen option that has lasted over the years.

Header. Just one. The cab is pretty rotten. We have a better cab. Not sure he will try to keep the ac.

360. Granny 4 speed. I'll have to look closer at the cab. Two piece wheels.

We used that compressor and an electric motor to make a vaccuum pump for cars.
It pulled good vaccuum for a few years till we got a real pump.
Life was simpler back then and AC was a chick magnet.
