Not here very much but there are some heated driveways at places in the mountains. Again, though even the local mega rich are fairly humble by most standards and don’t show off much.

Yeah, but it doesn't run.
I put some fuel in, gave it about 5 pulls..
That's about all the effort I plan to put into it.
It will live on a shelf.

Yup.
Local rich guy here has one. Probably a half a mile long.
I've posted pics of some of his cars. Mercedes AMG's, Ferrari's, Vettes old and new, tons of stuff..

Hardware exists for both set ups. Large areas are best suited to heated liquid systems, similar to in floor heating but I have seen electric mats for under sidewalks.

The entire downtown stretch of holland Michigan has heated streets/sidewalks. it uses waste heat from power generation. It’s largest such system in North America:
