I was going to but he sprayed as I walked up to him. He shot first but my aim was better.

Have to go real slow and talk in a soft low tone/manner and cover the trap with a blanket. It can then be picked up and moved without him spraying. Either relocate and release or drown. No stinks!
There's no way to shoot 'em where they won't spray. I've taken their head clean off with a 12gauge and still rolled over and done it.
I've heard of an injector on the end of a stick that you can euthanize them, but have never tried it.

A 7mm Rem Mag or a .300 Win Mag will cause them to explode.

I use a box trap made out of plywood with a mouse trap for a trigger. Never had one spray inside of it.

Got a old blanket and long stick covered up and hauled out to pasture and let him go
Then shot him at 60-70 yrds out
