Absolutely notz!!

Yep sub zero here again, looks like we will have 10 - 20 below every morning except one for the next week or so.Good morning fellas. Howling outta the north today!
Wet and very windy in Maine. Curious to see how much of the snow gets melted. The other day was 0 temp and supposed to be maybe even 50 today and winds up to 60 mph. Tomorrow temps drop from 50s to 20 so everything is going to freeze rock solid. Have a woods road that needs to be opened so tomorrow I will be hustling to get it plowed in the time between going from 50 to 20. Yahoo. Cut up a big log yesterday and it felt like summer out with the 30 degree temps..it was great. Stay dry.Morning to all positive and negative electrons, beer, and milk drinkers alike. Keep your powder dry as it looks to be a wet one today.
Nice!Morning perps…55 to 78 and clear.
That sux...damn near hit 80 degs here today.Yep sub zero here again, looks like we will have 10 - 20 below every morning except one for the next week or so.
We had that here in Maine yesterday and went through a bunch of firewood. Seems like when it gets down below 10 is when I do not care for it but usually I like working in the cold when the ground is nice and crunchy and you do not sweat. I do not like working in summer heat but usually end up doing it anyhow. Last summer I sold a woodlot and had to work in the 80s getting equipment, supplies, wood etc off because I sold the woodlot and had 60 days to clear out. The new owner would not let me wait until cooler Fall weather because they wanted to go hunting on the woodlot. They paid cash but man did I do some sweating...sucked!Yep sub zero here again, looks like we will have 10 - 20 below every morning except one for the next week or so.
Xantrex DR series invertor charger. Oldie but goodie. Only about 2000 watts. Has all sorts of features and controls I set and forget. Love that it has an adjustable load minimum that can be set so it automatically shuts off or turns off the invertor at the load level you set...you turn on a light for example and it turns the invertor on. That way you do not waste energy running the invertor while not using electricity. I had a Freedom 5000 but found running my mini generator or for higher wattage my Miller welder/generator saves batteries and cuts solar system cost down (you can build any size system you want and any size invertor you want). What size inverter or inverters are you using, or is it a charge controller/inverter. They are all over the place price wise. I don't think I will save money, just looking to have the Ability to be self sufficient. The heat pump is my only concern. But I think that can be overcome. I have plenty of land to put an array at ground level, no need for roof panels. I am going to get this designed around my needs and size it accordingly. Thanks for all your answers.
