ex gf is from around thereBangor region.
To get the most out of your solar charger check to see if it has a over amp and or voltage for panel input. I run extra panels set up so that my controller shut off is used if need be. Most often you will not be getting full output from all panels. They have some term for having extra panels that I forget. If you have knowledge about wiring and electricity amps/volts you will realize what I am talking about. That way you have 40 amps coming out of a 40 amp charger.some people think if the controller says say 1000 watts they can only have 10 100 watt panels and that is only true for controllers with no over current or over voltage shut off. If you just had 10 panels on the charger than you would rarely be getting the max charging your unit can handle because you rarely get full output from panels. You can wire your panel array to produce higher amps or voltages or any combo between. What size inverter or inverters are you using, or is it a charge controller/inverter. They are all over the place price wise. I don't think I will save money, just looking to have the Ability to be self sufficient. The heat pump is my only concern. But I think that can be overcome. I have plenty of land to put an array at ground level, no need for roof panels. I am going to get this designed around my needs and size it accordingly. Thanks for all your answers.

This kinda crap is why I don't have any newer vehicles...$822.63 front shock absorber for a 17 GMC.

Same here. Just going to register a new vehicle is enough for a heart attack. Newer vehicles are super complicated too and not user friendly to fix. Most folks have a mortgage on what they drive...just look at the food lines and what the people are driving. Bankers and financing have totally changed folks view of what they deserve to own. I believe in no debt or very short term debt with guaranteed return from working a job. This kinda crap is why I don't have any newer vehicles...
