Correct.

The Hylomar will wash away in the transfers.

What of the surface you are trying to keep sealed up? Will it stay in there good? I never tried it as it bothered me, but maybe I can rethink it too is why I ask. Might be like the clear silicone on the old Macs, that shouldn't have worked either, but it did.

Id kind of like to meet fabz actually, if only to get a better idea of what the hell is wrong with him.

Meth. And maybe some more meth with a touch of fetal alcohol syndrome.

Aint you got a flatbed for hauling?

It's a 1989. Drove it quite a bit today. The low compression cylinder might have been a stuck ring. Seems to be coming around. Fun as hell to drive. Going to get me in trouble lol. Pretty cool Bubba got one.
So you're gonna be MustangMike 2.0?

I live in a very small town, the k-6 school has maybe 150 kids. People have to line up now, with a little number in the windshield and they call ur kids number in on the walkie-talkie and then release your kid. Somehow it take a friggin hour to get all the kids out of the school. And then theyve added in early release wednesdays, so that i ha e to stop what im doing to pick up kids at 1:30. Super convenient....not.

I'm lucky and drop off my kids. And we have late start Fridays but only for the k-5.

I use permatex anaerobic gasket maker, pretty sure is loctite 518. A little goes a long way, it washes away inside the saw and cleans up easy on gasket surfaces in my experience.

There are only a few saws that I delete the base gasket on. And on those I've worried endlessly about either having a leak, or obstructing the transfers. I tried 518 because it was non hardening. But.....I had at least one saw develop a leak. I used it as a case sealant on a 3750 Poulan....and it failed. So.....I began using Dirko. Never had a failure. But....I was again being really careful with it not to have any squeeze out into the lowers. Then Joe Harkness recommended Hylomar Blue. That stuff is fantastic. I've used one whole tube now.....and had no issues that I know of.

We used to have late start wednesdays, but they changed to seemingly random early release wednesdays. All the hipster transplants that moved here during covid dont care, there "working from home" so who cares if they have to walk down to the elementary school in their fancy slippers and skinny jeans. Sort of a pain in the ass for a regular person tho.

A few weeks from now, and a couple old normal winters they'll retreat to Chicago or the brave ones Cadillac.

Yes. Yes you did.

And yeah.....I have a flatbed.

I fixed it now dammit. I'm out of practice.
