I fixed it now dammit. I'm out of practice.

GD hipsters!!!! Well most people here are on welfare or the grandparents have custody of the kids.
Yeah...it could be worse i guess. Just heard today a young guy i sort of knew who was married with kid overdosed and died. If that chit is in frankfort, then its gotta be everywhere. Too damn bad.

Your town has a lot of sad incidents. The drugs are getting *s-wordtier too.

Its everywhere.
It sucks. We are fairly lucky wjere we are, its not quite as bad as other places a few hours drive away. But people i went to school with, not even 40 and are just totally scorched, no chance to recover. Its just sad. A kid who just graduated high school here this spring died from OD not long after. 18 years old. Dead from a bad decision.

The dope these mfers are doing is mostly garbage. No telling what is in it.

My wife's younger sister is strung out like a research monkey on meth and pills. My daughter drove an hour one way to pick her up and haul her here for Thanksgiving. That means an hour back....then two more hours hauling her worthless ass home and driving back.

Four hours....

But.....my daughter has a big heart. She feels bad for her. Rose has never come to my house fughed up......till this time. Holy hell. That bish was wired to the gills. Sitting on my couch clucking like a hen. Literally. I've never seen anything like it.

Needless to say, she ain't coming back here again.

I don't think I have much substance abuse in the youngsters in my family but a lot of malaise so I can't be sure. I just keep loving them and asking age appropriate questions. Good on your daughter. Really what else can she do in this world?

I asked her wtf was wrong with her? She was like "WUT"? Cluck.....Cluck Cluck.

Gawd damn I was livid.
Ive seen some chit.
Never be able to forget my ex sitting there picking sores into her face, arms, wherever.
Was where the poison from the cheap meth was making it itch I guess.
Never knew if it was actually the chemicals forming pockets under the skin, or psychological.
Either way, I didnt put up with it for long, once I found out what was causing it.
The pot and pills was one thing, but that chit was the last straw.
Finally found out the best thing you can do for an addict is NOTHING.
They have to WANT to get better.

Exactly.

Too many have literally loved their family members to death.

You're better off to take em down to the end of the driveway and tell them they can turn right....or left, but they can't turn around.

There are only a few saws that I delete the base gasket on. And on those I've worried endlessly about either having a leak, or obstructing the transfers. I tried 518 because it was non hardening. But.....I had at least one saw develop a leak. I used it as a case sealant on a 3750 Poulan....and it failed. So.....I began using Dirko. Never had a failure. But....I was again being really careful with it not to have any squeeze out into the lowers. Then Joe Harkness recommended Hylomar Blue. That stuff is fantastic. I've used one whole tube now.....and had no issues that I know of.
Been a Three Bond 1187 guy for years and when it gets squished in it's more rounded and flattened as it is relaxes before it dries.
Have used the blue for split tanks, new Mac 10-10 fuel lines that aren't properly sized for the job, just smear on some blue goo and pull through. No more leaky. And is easy to clean up when the next line goes in. So I guess I can see where it would work on a cylinder base too. I tend to think that they(2 stroke sealants) all have a place and it's up to us to find it.

Another good trick on the 10 series Mac fuel lines is to just slip the line back far enough to wrap 3 or 4 wraps of Teflon tape around it, then shove it back in.
If they still have cork tank gaskets, just put fuel in it and set aside outside overnight. Gas will swell the cork and it'll stop leaking on its own.
Macs are basically self-healing, like Christine.:)
