Wheel kits were quite common in the 60's and 70's when machines had bogey wheel rear suspensions.
Pretty hard on the hifax slides of modern sleds, melt from heat from no snow lubrication.

Speaking of lawns, do I really need to dethatch or scarify(sp) mine? Saw a tool for sale recently was the prompt.

I don’t see any need to de-thatch. Run an aerator over it behind a riding mower and be done with it.

Haha yeah, i have experience w kikuyu. I guess it depends on what you want as a result. Aggressive dethatching/vertical mowing on a grass of that sort will lead to better turf over the long run. I wouldnt say its a requirement, but that stuff gets puffy bery quickly and can then become hard to mow

Pretty famous golf course riviera country club in los angeles has kikuyu fairways and rough. They do a TON of maintenance just to keep it from overtaking the putting greens and tees. That stuff is crazy

Just bought something similar yesterday Dave, hasn't arrived yet. Was cheap enough to use it as a development tool for a better one if necessary.
