Lol they don't inspire confidence do they..seems like branches could fall off anywhere when I look at them..Mornin' Boys! I learned today that climbing willow trees isn't my absolute favorite thing to do.

I'm already in big snow country and the snowmobile haven of the world, where is this place you have?
Evening fellers. I’ve been laying some paving slabs and block paving.. I hated it. Although it was a favour for a friend. So it’s not as bad, I got dinner and beers also I got paid a bit…”mates rates”
Tomorrow is funeral/wake day, as friend passed about 2weeks ago. I will try and fill in the blanks when I hear more as to why he passed.
I had to cut my own switch from a willow tree to be beaten with when I was young.Mornin' Boys! I learned today that climbing willow trees isn't my absolute favorite thing to do.
My old man played that head game too. One time he sent my brother out to get one and told him not to bring back some little twig either. Like 1/2 hour later my brother comes dragging a 2" diameter sappling about 15 foot long balling his azz off. Laughing ensued and no whipping was administered.
I just thought I’d update this. The wake was in someone’s (a friends) garden, there were a couple of fires but not big enough as there was a cold arctic air flow -1C wind chill..
Anyhow I stayed a couple of hrs and had a chat with a few people I knew.
The reason for his passing (he was 68) was a blood clot in the heart, that’s what I was told.
so I’m guessing essentially a heart attack due to the clot .
