I've seen loggers that take good care of their equipment. Seems to be the big tree care outfits that have no time to use common sense with saws.

If using the 357 boot, a little sealant helps from leaks to form.

I like the 346 boot with a 357 ring stuffed in the end of it and ears trimmed for the 357 flange. Either way will work, it's a pick your poison scenario.

Yep. Did the Motoseal around the flange before I slipped it on. Its had .040" milled off the base, so theres a bit of a flat spot there.
