If using the 357 boot, a little sealant helps from leaks to form.

I like the 346 boot with a 357 ring stuffed in the end of it and ears trimmed for the 357 flange. Either way will work, it's a pick your poison scenario.

Yep. Did the Motoseal around the flange before I slipped it on. Its had .040" milled off the base, so theres a bit of a flat spot there.

So, it's probably bs but I was told by a neighbor that the local logging / firewood business owner has a trailer full of "worn out saws". I'll be investigating and report back. I'm sure they are one or both of the big two if they exist.
