My XR650R was factory geared and ran 95-99 top speed depending on the terrain. First gear was low enough it was almost unneeded.

Only 650 I ever rode was a Yamaha XS?650. Dual sport. Gears were a little tall for the trails we were riding, but it would lug over anything in its way. Logs, stumps, whatever. I just hung on prayed.
Always liked something a little smaller and more manageable for the woods. Never raced.

Neighbor calls this morning....says I have a cow out. I go check it out. Not my cow. This evening the damn thing has gotten in with my cows.

Where is the throttle pedal?? Unless I'm missing something?

Must be a chevy thing. I don't need a gas pedal to start the volvo... or dodge, or ford...


Or the old GMC bucket truck. It started one day with the gas pedal not working.
