If you grasp the concept of tig, you can do this. Get some scrap metal about the same thickness and have at it til you can make it look good. Just make sure the solder you get isnt too big. That can make it hard to get it to melt before you start to melt the sheet metal.I read brazing can be done with a map torch which I have. Might try that. I've never brazed. I've stick and mig welded a ton in another life. Tig welded a little. All I have here is a cheap Clark flux core mig a buddy left years ago. I plan on upgrading to a miller that does all three but $1800 is a tough pill to swallow for a tool that's more of a toy for me now lol.
I want a multiprocess rig, but we are in the same boat. Not enough doll hairs lying around.
