Im a single stage guy too. Forester coaxial press. I weigh every charge too but I have stopped using a manual powder measure for my target rigs. I use the manual for the 556 and 17 hornet ammo. Once my wife got a match rifle my full manual powder throwing then manually trickling on a beam wasn't cutting it anymore. Way way to slow. I actually broke down 10 of my beam scale loads and compared them to my automated system and the manual rounds were LESS consistent.

What are you throwing your charges with? And what types of powders?
Many of my rifles use extruded powders and I've always found it difficult to get consistent throws on a regular basis with them. Ball powder has never been an issue. That's why I still weigh each one.

Morning Ray.
Good Morning. Thru about 500 pages of the future oil tests. Hats off to your testing. Not sure where you are located, but my parents had a house outside White Cloud, Mi. We had some property but sold it in the 1990's. Should have kept it.

I forgots to show you fellers…straightened up some of the batteries/chargers clusterfuckk the other evening in the bedroom turned office turned clusterfuckk room. Some of this is part of the mother lode, paid next to nothing deal with the gal selling all the deceased ol’ man’s stuff she didn’t want.

Auto trickler version 3. Be setting down if you price it. Uses a laboratory scale with a magnetic measuring device instead of a load cell. No drifting off zero.

Both of our target rifles are using extruded powder. H4895 for mine and Benchmark for hers.

The 556 is CFE-223 and the hornet is.... some other spherical powder.

Yeah, I don't need to get that fancy. I simply don't have the time to pull triggers that I used to and most of my rifles are way more accurate than I can be at this point.
5 shots in a 3" circle at 300 yards is easily minute of deer. :D

This is pretty typical of where I'm hitting at this point in my life. That's off a sandbag on my picnic table. Real high tech..

Went and looked at a truck today. Been looking for a work truck/beater. This one was a 99 Ram 2500 with a Cummins and an NV4500. It ran and drove okay but the body was rough and the inspection ran out at the end of the month. Guy wanted $5000 for it, I offered $4k, but I wasn't going any higher. He came down to $4500 but I wasn't gonna do that. There are others out there.
