So.....guy calls. I did his saw in August of 2013. Runs with the air filter off, but not well with it on.

Should I feel obligated to fix it?

Thoughts?

Send it, is what I say, fix it, if it ain't your doing that it doesn't work then get paid to do so.

I spent a good bit of time on the phone with him. Looked up a carb for it on ebay.....sent him a link for it. If the carb doesn't fix it.....I'll offer to look it over.

Could it be just the filter is plugged up?

This fella never asked for anything except a point in the right direction. I just thought it was cool that he called me for advice on a saw I did in 2013.

Time for a new saw for that feller.

I’d say btwn the three of us we prob dusted 30 tacos and seven/eight baskets of chips and salsa altogether. They got tired of running sweet tea out every five minutes and just parked three pitchers on the table.

Jose’ was kinda giving me the ol’ side eye when we finally paid up and left…no doubt he was tired of running tacos, chips/salsa, and tea out and empty plates back to the damn kitchen. Lol

I don’t think they made any profit off our table, and I slacked a little…coulda dusted another four or five tacos easily but the other two had seen enough. Lol

They have all been rebuilt at some point, but if you use them, it's going to happen.

lardass
thats not a meal thats a sit in movie time

Before you guys form the opinions on timg let me clarify. Itemized evaluation and repairs are at the owners expense.
It would be just plain ludicrous to expect warranty or expenses out of @Mastermind's pocket.
exactly its been about 8 years and how many hours has it been worked

Nope.
You ported it.
You don't own it.
At this point I feel it's the owners responsibility.
This. ↑↑↑
If I popped a ported saw a year after its built I'm not expecting a free ride. And defects from the porter should have showed up long before a year even at moderate use Id think.
