Well *s-wordt…I’m too damn fat and miserable to drive home.

Final tally after 2 1/2 hrs…4 baskets of chips and salsa, 16 tacos (12 beef, 4 shredded chicken), and prob a gallon of sweet tea. And I need to finish some yard *s-wordt when I get home…that might just hafta wait ‘til tomorrow mornin.

Before you guys form the opinions on timg let me clarify. Itemized evaluation and repairs are at the owners expense.
It would be just plain ludicrous to expect warranty or expenses out of @Mastermind's pocket.
That's how I read it the 1st time.

Well I know when I wrecked my saw I appreciated you not washing your hands of it even though you were hella busy, but then I never asked you to cover it either.

This fella never asked for anything except a point in the right direction. I just thought it was cool that he called me for advice on a saw I did in 2013.

So.....guy calls. I did his saw in August of 2013. Runs with the air filter off, but not well with it on.

Should I feel obligated to fix it?

Thoughts?
Good answers. Unfortunately people will take advantage of a good hearted person. It’s tough to say no when it’s some BS. Take the good with the bad. Try to do right by both parties. Fair is fair. If it’s my fault I’ll gladly fix it for free. Otherwise it’s gonna cost something. A lot of folks can’t take care of things unfortunately. I had a guy buy a saw from me not ported and he said it quit on him.....?????? Then I get it and pull it apart and it had a rusted crank and throttle linkage frozen from rust sitting out in the rain. Did I tell the guy no problem I’ll fix it right up? No I sent him pictures and said what it would cost and he came and got it. Never heard from him since
