Just needed something tall enough to clear the roller rockers. They were on sale and reasonably priced.

The 5.3 is a good engine and easy to get so this is why probably despise them like I do. The whole ls swap has been done to death and I like to see the ls get its arse whipped whenever I can .

Coyote's are a fair bit wider than an LS as far as repower options go tho afaik. There ain't always much room to begin with. Not that i would cross polinate anyway.
