Guy at work just got bad fuel or didn’t change his filters enough, lost a pump and wiped the whole injection system out he was quoted 7000$ to fix

a buddy of mine has a newer l5p with the cp4 and it *s-word the bed
he got rid of the cp4 and put in a older cp3

That’s what this had, pretty sure Ford and Chevy both used the cp4, way I understand it’s the fuel quality here and the amount of sulfur along with changing filter regularly

Except I’m a cheap bugger and it will be cheaper at home…

I’m not desperate for it, just want a large saw that isn’t a 661. I’ll move that only along once I get this one in my hands and ported.

Did he put the cp4? They came with a denso system. Not saying it’s any better though. Cp3 is definitely the most reliable.
