So this Boiler trip.
My inside job has three 43bar Stork HP boilers as part of my responsibility.
Had to change fuel from fuel oil and fuel gas to just fuel gas. Outside guy shut correct valves at correct time, all groovy. Then an alarm sounded and the emergency low pressure fuel safeguard activated.
So no fuel at all now.

So the down wiggle top right trend box is the total refinery steam pressure. Got down to 38bar from 43.
The boiler output that tripped lower left. The other boiler picking up some load lower right.
Had liquid fuel fires back in within 5 minutes and then sent someone to check what went wrong, all the time wondering if it was a mistake on my part. Outside guy found a wire hanging out of a termination box. Clearly broken previously and never reported. Vibration from fuel change must have shaken it loose therefore 'zeroing' instrument.
Had our favourite instrument guy remake the lead and carried on with the job.

I made this face.

Refining. 99% boredom, 1% terror.

Serious set of jaws there Tim how many lbs per square inch will it crush
Not specifically on this Genesis attachment. The machine is running at just over 5500 psi. It will munch a 10-12" bridge deck to pieces very easily Todd. I did have it stalled on 24" material but to me that is hydraulic hammer territory.
BTW good evening to ya sir!!

Morning slackers. I start a new job today. I put my notice in at the hardware store last week and finished it out on Friday. Left on good terms but it was time to move on. I'll be doing very similar work at this new job, loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, palletizing, banding and strapping, making sure things are safe to roll down the road on flatbeds. Lots of forklifting. Only now I won't be in a retail environment dealing with that kind of chaos. Probably mostly paperwork today. Wish me luck.

how many acres do you bale

About 40.

Probably as many as he cuts...

Repped.

I thought cattle couldn’t eat clover?

Gotta be careful with green clover. Can cause bloating. Dried not so bad. Mixed with grass, not a big deal. Gotta feed minerals year round too.

Hiho hiho [emoji3061]

Tumbler is broke down
The drum is driven by 2 orbit motors coupled to a shaft with driver wheel
One of those broke
Week to get one so I’m gonna try to weld it and buff down smooth
V it out good and clamp to a good angle iron and multi pass it. Should work just fine I’ve done it before

Man I wish I had a big enough chipper to just run the whole tree through. I use this liberally on spots that have likely come into contact with PI. 20210615_144529.jpg

An overnight oxyclean soak does for the pine sap and PI oils on clothes and gloves.20210615_144209.jpg

I usually avoid getting Poison Ivy despite frequently working in and around it.

My grandson Jonathan is extremely allergic to poison ivy. He's had some horrible cases of it.

Try that hand sanitizer with him. Works great for me.

I used to never get it until about 20 years ago when we burned a brush pile from a lot clearance job. Turns out it must have been loaded with poison ivy. I got it pretty bad and had to get a shot 4 or 5 times. My co worker ended up in the hospital for a week. Now I'm allergic to it and will get it if I don't take precautions.
