How am i going to get my boat onto your back yard with that rail joining the gate posts together Gaz?

Long trip to get your boat here. Could almost be done through the Northwest Passage the. Hudson Bay and the rivers down to Lake Winnipeg. If you make it that far I’ll come meet you in Gimli they have a nice marina there.

If he’s gonna go that far he may as well keep going to Selkirk

At that point keep going through the locks and right down to The Forks. Nice hotel there too but not likely his boat will be there in the morning.
Wasn’t sure how far he could go before he ran out of water lol. Seems like it depends on the day/year

Y'all been breathing in the happy smoke! It's a 19ft aluminium not an 80ft superwankeryacht, its coming by ferry on its trailer....;)

There isn’t 19ft from that gate to the pool. Your boat isn’t going to fit.

A guy I do some business with bought a 55fter in New York last year. Had is sailed up through the St Lawrence Seaway and the Great Lakes to Thunder Bay and then disassembled and trucked the last 900kms to Gimli. Apparently that last stretch cost more then the first legs of sailing did.

He’s now looking for an 80ft to take from Chicago down to the Gulf of Mexico and then sail around the Caribbean instead of having a condo down there as he and his wife have been unable to agree on which island.
