Rain buggered off yesterday so got a heap of mahi (work) done. Like to thank Yanmar for inventing the MiniDigger. This lil IHI saved me a ton of shovelling. Pity I couldn't use it at the unload end.

I did a bit of fire wood cutting on a neglected mixed woodland [approx 33 Acres] cut about 4 cube today and 7 cube 2wks ago.
I,m a bit slack at pics and taking,, also the sap is rising so the trees we cut 2weeks ago are well wet on top.
We may go and do a bit of dead standing and knock some hangers out in a couple of weeks..
Nothing big to cut thou, a lot of silver birch For the fire wood.

It does.
What had happent was, he wasnt paying attention and side-loaded it when he was picking up. The rope climbed over on top of itself, and theres not room for that to happen. Squished that section and jammed it so it wouldnt let down. Then he backlashed it on the drum trying to go down.
Needs an over-wrap switch that stops it going up if the rope tries to climb on top of itself. That would be more-gooder.
