I actually have a 700R.....but its mated to a transfer case. I also have a TH400. If I ditch the computer, a 700R, or the TH400 probably makes sense.

I'm in the planning stages of a 2002 2wd Chevy Blazer V-8 swap.
Build the 400 then put a gear vendors overdrive unit behind it. Bam. 6 speed auto. You could even put a low gear kit in it to lower 1st and 2nd by 20% I think. It leaves 3rd the same. Then you can run a taller gear in the rear, still have it out the hole and be able to cruise without screaming.

The Gear vendors overdrive is about 2600.00

DA old one with the lockup cable that broke sometimes.
I want a flathead with a magneto and a 2 speed powerglide. Dont even need a battery. Just hand crank it if the battery goes dead.
Not great for performance, but you'll get there, eventually.:)
That gives me bad flashbacks from a 1911 International tractor
No starter or provisions for one available. They could be done up with an electric Ford starter from the 1950's commercial motors in 6V or 12V, pia. No teefs
