lol ive used the heavy duty flashers before i thought it was something special
i do have one resistor left from when i put one in so my cruise control would work in yukon because of the led tail lights
ill order another and then worry about it
truck wont be put on the road for another week or so

I did em parallel. No-one thought it would work. But that's what Ford did so i copied, and it does work, on multiple different trailers and adapters, and even a dummy plug to fool the truck into thinking it has a trailer on when in fact it is only a towball mounted bike rack. I'll try and find a pic for evidence.....

Dallas, hook one end of the resistor to the line coming to the light, and let the light also hook there. Ground the other end of the resistor, and make sure the light is also grounded.
Probably work in series, but the light wont get full 12 volts if it goes through the resistor.
Either Way, it will see the same value of resistance.

Dallas, hook one end of the resistor to the line coming to the light, and let the light also hook there. Ground the other end of the resistor, and make sure the light is also grounded.
Probably work in series, but the light wont get full 12 volts if it goes through the resistor.
Either Way, it will see the same value of resistance.
thats how the ones i bought said to do it and i just ordered 2 more
supposed to be here saturday i used self tappers to ground all the lights to the bed and i plan on running one from bed to frame also

Our trailer colours are no doubt different to yours, but black is earth, other colours signal wires.

Not correct. Series will add to resistance. Parallel will take away.
