Sonnax has some good upgrades but you gotta make sure you set the clearances right on the input drum for c1 and c2 or one will drag the other and heat up.

When the time comes, I'll be asking for help. The transmission is good now, so I'll build the engine, and get everything working properly, then build the transmission.

I think you angered him this evening

Dallas......I thought we was friends.

Wow......just wow.

LOL GFY

Not more than 450 - 500.

I've been doing some research. There are good parts available. I'll probably build the one I have.

I'll be running it in a 2wd....

But yes, a 4L80 would be a better starting point. The damn things are pricey though. Then you still gotta build it.

Sorta like the 10 bolt vs the 12 bolt back in the day. One will break the ring gear, the other will break the spiders. Might as well beef up the one you have.
lol you know im messing with you

I'd move.
lol he cant go much further south lol

lol and i thought you said flasher unit lol
i have one resistor and would have to get another
Used to have to get a heavy duty flasher for the older trucks if you wanted to pull a trailer. Standard flasher was underpowered for the extra incandescent load of trailer lights and truck.
Most newer vehicles have a heavier flasher already if they have a towing package. Most 1 tons do anyways.
LED lamps DECREASE the load, and the flasher unit flashes faster because it doesnt see ENOUGH load.
The resistor in line between the flasher and the light "fakes" the flasher into seeing a normal load. Resistance to voltage increases current.
Damn shame theres no Radioshack stores left around. You could run down and pick up those resistors cheap and quick.
