True story. The only real difference with regular IPA's and pale ales is the malt bill. Similar/same hops in most cases. Pale ales typically highlight the malt flavor of a beer. They can both have similar ibu(how bitter something is) ratings. Space rock is pretty hop forward for a pale ale. If you like space rock, you could probably handle IPA's that are more malt forward.No I did not
