At least your gas doesn’t get scalding hot through metal gas cans in the summer

I keep hearing all these tales about metal gas cans being “proper” for storing gas. I had a steel tool box for wrenches, screwdrivers, channel locks, stuff for work. Every time I opened it up the tools were damp. Within a year everything was rusty from condensation. My plastic tool boxes are dry inside so I use plastic gas cans. Maybe it’s just the humidity here. Idk

Nope. Its that way anywhere that HAS humidity.
When plastic gas cans became available, thats what we used. Even so, dont store them on the ground or a concrete floor.
Will collect condensation through any air leak. Temperature expansion during the hot months ensures some kind of late night moisture gets in if theres enough temperature differential when the humidity and lower temps come in.

I use it....anti-gel that is. I use Howes and I only plug it in when it gets real cold and never had a problem.

I'm trying but a number two tree turned into a nine yesterday. I got pic but nedd to fix my new Firefox update to log in ky phone. Tied that thing off and went back up for more and ripped it off with muh pick up truck, mfer. 70ft pencil pine learner dead and rotten, pia and dangerous as hell. Two static lines got it righted and then a half hair cut with some persuasion needed. Worse one all years.
