I rebuilt a 455 the other day that had a stuck ring, tons of carbon. IDK what oil the feller was using but I recommended he switch to something else.

I truly hate the 455

I didn't figure the guy would wanna fix it when I told him what it would cost but he didn't bat an eye so fug it. They're way easier to rebuild than a 290/390.

They like Motoseal a lot.

I have some Berryman B-12. There is a lot of e free fuel close to me living by the lake so i rarely use it. I just add a splash to a tank of fuel once a year to clean stuff up.
