My reply was f**k that that's more than what I paid for the last truck I bought$3500

Trying not to be political, genuinely curious. Any talk of price increases or shortages yet?Good morning guys. Half a day of standing up metal studs in the book. Stay safe out there men.
Sounds like he'll be a banged up for awhile, hope all is good for himGood evening felchers…..
My mate had his colonoscopy this afternoon. Well the laxative didn’t work as well as it should have so the doc sort of douched & sucked the last bits out.
Apparently 15 polyps removed and one area that is of interest and maybe a bit more investigation. So he’s gotta wait 2 weeks for the results and a consultant to see him.
Anyway I had a good chuckle with him about his back door being lub'd & banged
You could take Green s**t out of the background and it still would look goodI know jack šhit about tractors and stuff but I don't understand all the John Deere hate
Looks good to me...

FWIW, the New Holland dealer around here seems to be the hotness for people who are actually involved in agricultureYou could take Green s**t out of the background and it still would look good
That's what I've started to notice around here too.the majority of the big farmers or the ones that do it for a living are leaving Deere but if you want a 40 hp lawnmower with a front end loader Deere all the way babyFWIW, the New Holland dealer around here seems to be the hotness for people who are actually involved in agriculture
Deere is pretty much the weekend warrior brand

I'm not close to the supply end of it now. I haven't heard anything yet. But materials have been ordered for this job over a year ago.Trying not to be political, genuinely curious. Any talk of price increases or shortages yet?
I am hearing reports that in some areas the larger home builders can't get their houses done as all the roofers have been deported.
My brother is near Los Angeles. All the houses that were under construction are sitting idle. Crews were mostly Latino, and they hauled ass.Trying not to be political, genuinely curious. Any talk of price increases or shortages yet?

Not the layout man on this job Larry. But always keeping my eyes open for that double layer wall that messes up all the math. You remembered the 5/8" I hope.
Yuo get a house for less$3500

There are homes being built here. But the roofing, drywall, and block crews are begging for help. All the Latino help disappeared literally overnight. The problem is that no one wants a job. Especially a job that is manual labor. They can work at McDonalds and make 10 - 12 bucks an hour flipping burgers. Why would they want to get on a roof and nail down shingles for not much more?I've heard this in multiple regions. I have been very frustrated with many of our US based suppliers, they are vehemently against the 10% tariff on good from China and trying to gather support to lobby for removal of such. I have made it my business to be openly critical of that stance as it is short sighted and only focused on their bottom line and not the industry we supply. If no houses are getting built, no one is buying lights, it doesn't matter how much they cost...
