Any more calves? My buddy had one drop in his pasture last night - said it was starting to freeze to the ground. He brought it in the house and warmed it up and dried it off with his wife’s hair dryer. Kept it inside for a couple hours before taking it back to momma and some fresh straw bedding.

Any more calves? My buddy had one drop in his pasture last night - said it was starting to freeze to the ground. He brought it in the house and warmed it up and dried it off with his wife’s hair dryer. Kept it inside for a couple hours before taking it back to momma and some fresh straw bedding.

Thankfully no. One of my oldest cows (which ain't too old) is due to calve next. She's been known to feed three calves at a time. Really good momma. I'll be watching her real close.
