Our local valley stations were just in the 65-75 mph range

I can recall when going back to the boat that was dry docked in Alitak for the winter, to get it ready to fish in the spring, the wind meter was broken. It went to 100 mph and had the stuffing knocked right out of it, so too did all the other boats there.
