Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

There are two packages on their way to me in the mail, so we'll see if anything can be used. 242/246 has completely dried out, even ebay has pretty much nothing nos oem.

And then there's a package on its way to my dealer from Husqvarna. Possibly pick up towards the end of the week.
I'm probably going to buy a new 346 crank, what might be scary is that it quickly builds up with more new parts...once you've started..

True DJ, I'm doomed.
It wasn't really meant to be like this, has new, crankcase, top end, xpg handle and rear element, top and starter cover. All the intake parts are standard with me, if crank, I'm afraid I'll end up with oil pump, clutch and drum...

The project is a crank bearing experiment.
To have one that can be abused, I should get another project with the same bearing solution.

Good morning fellas. I’m probably parts running today. And then probably replacing the lift pump on the skidder - it’s been leaking from the diaphragm, out and down along the engine block. Made a mess. But that’s better than leaking into the crankcase and oil..

In other news, an acquaintance from High School reached out to me. He and another fella co-own the Husqvarna dealership about an hour away from me (only actual Husq dealer around here). He said they are in the process of finalizing paperwork with Stihl, to become a dealer for them as well. The other owner is also a logger. So I have a feeling they know what they need to be successful for commercial users like myself. They haven’t owned the dealership together for more than a couple years, but they already have a good reputation for taking care of loggers and whatnot. I hope they are successful. Would be nice to have a dealer I can trust, that won’t gouge me, and has everything I need on hand, without ordering. Time will tell.

You thought wrong.
I was cheering for them
Me too. I don’t watch much football, but we typically watch the border battle games each season between the Vikings and Packers. It’s a big deal around here. In the past, when they’ve been on Monday night, city council meetings and other gatherings usually get rescheduled so people can watch the game.
