We called them a 351 Windsor. Like a larger 289. The Cleveland with 4-bolt mains was the big boy of the 2.
I been waiting for someone to say Windsor

In the day that was all you ever heard, Cleveland vs Windsor

And that is the extent of my ford knowledge

Good question. Ford did a lot of funny things like that. And all of it was before my time lol
Windsor came in cars and trucks, M was also cars and trucks, Cleveland was in cars and the f-ing ranchero, and that's about the extent on my knowledge.

Car vs truck?
No Windsor and cleavland both came in cars and trucks. The Windsor was basically a 289/302 block with 1” taller deck hight. Cleavland was its own engine and was made in the states only for 5 years or so. The Cleveland was reworked into the 351m/400 and the m stands for “modified” because it was a reworked cleavland. The regular Cleveland was built for over 30 years in Australia though in 302 cu in and 351 cu in.

I drove by it on the way home from my research facility. Looks like kid drove off opposite side of road and yanked it back and across the other way. Don't know what he told supervisors yet. He is lucky/blessed he was not hurt. Been trying to figure out how it came to rest on the drivers side in the river.
