I got married in 78 (you pick which millennium) and 20-25 years ago when I’d tell the kids to clean up their room I would hear the sound of them throwing change into the waste can in their room

It had zero value to them even back tgen

Money I would have killed for as a kid
78? Same here, lol still going strong 😀

There's been two drones flying around out here the last few nights, a few miles east of here, CO/NE border. 4 lights on each, they'll hover in one place for a few minutes then move around a little bit, but kinda stay in the same general place. They dont appear to be small drones .

There's literally nothing out here, but corn & wheat feilds, and old homestead abandoned farm houses every 4-6 miles. I wonder who's flying them or what they are checking out. It could be Skynet. Or the feds spying on some tweakers that have a lab in NE, it happened 4-5 years ago over there, when they busted up a ring.
So…get ya some of them new depleted Uranium 12g shells and have at it!

Good morning ladies and gentlemen,

Today I'm going for a little trip to the forest and dump the slaughter.

Now that my brain is starting to clear (not sure it will clear completely) I realized that I have a 339 xp project too. On the next order from MaskinSalg Evje I will order a cylinder gasket and new crank bearings, put it together and do the v&p (I will definitely have to make blocks for this too.

We will have a few days of strong wind, will be working indoors with chainsaws instead of in the forest with Øsa. Definitely 2-3 workouts too so that my stomach is in shape and gas production is at a high level.

Are there any of you who use electronic timing wheel? Pros and cons

Good morning men, raining and Sunday, may just be a Slack-fest today. Ordered some Ethiopian green coffee beans, I like the Guatamalan that I have, but love the yirgacheffe. Coffee time.

I saw one last night, I can't say for sure how big it was because I know absolutely nothing about drones but I know it wasn't one of those little hobby things.

I have one, it is easy to read and takes a bit to set up correctly, I use a calculator. Saw needs to be in a vice that stays in the same plane as it is moved to see better, otherwise readings will be off the amount the saw tilted. I can only use mine on my tree monkey vice, the other ball socket stand I have needs to be used with a wheel to ensure it stays the same. Also, when going back to the project to check again, it needs to be re-zeroed, once you get used to this it can be done the first try if you do the math right.
Long and short of it, if you have a good saw vice, go for it, if you don't, either forget it, or get a new one from tree monkey, you'll get none better and you will wonder how you managed so long without it.

Steve, Thanks for a good explanation, then I stick to the classic timing wheel.

Welcome and stuff.
They still work and you can always get a different wheel if you have a hard time reading/seeing the one you have now.

I’m hoping to see one here so I can get a real close look….
