Probably a couple roosters being raised for fighting, if I had to guess. Some of my old co-workers (I used to work in Cudahy, WI) told me about the fights. I'm not into bloodsport like that, so I tuned them out.

I grew up on SAC bases

B-52 music was my lullabies

My son sent some pics of some B-52s at Elmendorf AFB a short while back, I guess tensions were running hot and they were up here for a show of force

I may have said this back then but I will repeat what I told him

Since no new B-52s were built since the early 60s and since his grandfather was the Chief of Flightline Maintenance in 3 different SAC bases, despite the fact that he retired in 1967, there was every chance that his grandfather had been in and worked on those very same B-52s

That blows my mind

Full alerts were always fun…well, we kids thought they were cool. Adults, not so much.
Takeoff every 30sec till the entire wing was airborn… 52s, 135s, and C5s. Quite a sight. Form up in squadrons, fly around for a few hrs, then, bring um all back.

To this day the hair on the back of my neck goes up and I get a real sense of pride when I see the power of this country up in the skies
