Morning all.

I'm sitting here sipping coffee, listening to two Owls call back and forth to each other outside by my chicken coop.

Had some bird of prey kill a hen yesterday, ate just the head and neck. Was one of the wife's favorites, so she is upset and it's my problem now. I had seen a great horned owl in the chicken run previously, so I'm pretty sure who dunnit

Considering showing the owls my sporting clay prowess and my Silver Pigeon, but I do like seeing them and hearing the banter between them.

Edit: Went to let the chickens out for the day, only to see a Great horned owl perched on the T-post at the back of the chicken run. It was probably looking for the body it left yesterday. Gonna close off the un-covered side of the run (i have gamebird mesh over the main run, they have pasture access through a back gate).

Morning gentlemen! It’s one of those weekends I dread due to all the running around we have ahead! Late night playoff game in which we lost then had a 2 1/2 hour drive home. It was 1:00 this morning before I was settled in bed. Now we have to run to get the daughter picked up, run to Sam’s, run to get haircuts, run, run, run, run! It’s all we do these days, lol. You all have a good day!

Morning slackers of ope. I don’t understand the interest in bingo. Those women just go nuts. I’m still waiting to hear the final number of how many tickets were sold before it starts but it was so loud in the vfws back room you couldn’t hear. The minute the bingo caller started you could hear a pin drop. That said I really appreciate all those women that love bingo as our vfw auxiliary had another successful fundraiser. I’m going to slack today as I need some rest

I'm going to heat up a pizza, after that I'm going to use the oven to heat up the crankcase which is getting new oem bearings, 242G today.
There is one I am building for the collection, the 242 had three major changes in its time, black plastic and black g, I have one of them.
in 90 they came with a thin gray G handle and gray parts, that's the one I'm going to build today (which I didn't have before), then it came with a thicker gray G handle.

We are losing 5 1/2 minutes per day at this point in the year

The bottom is finished, went very easily with the service tool I have. When I was working on it I remember some of the parts that belonged to her went across the pond must have been 5 years ago lol
Possibly I'll port it, will try to get hold of parts that belonged on the 90 model.
Finished with chainsaws for the day, time to start cleaning.
