Afternoon all, chilling out watching football. Elliott was back at the Dr yesterday, his pneumonia was worse, in both lungs now. Some stronger meds now and seems to be starting to improve some. Certainly not how he wanted to spend his birthday.

Saw some cool sleds and thought of a couple of you.

Squirrels plant plenty of those in my yard. Don't have any problem with them coming up and I have to mow them down in the spring.

He was too busy running in circles and just generally being a dummy. Woodticks were nasty this year, and even though he's on tick meds, I still limited his running in the tall grass until this adventure.

Well, I worked later than I originally planned, but I am done cutting wood for this landing, which is a good thing. I’ll hunt tomorrow. Speaking of hunters, the farm I’m on allowed a trapper to come in and place some traps yesterday. Here’s what I found this morning when I was there:

While I had planned to go, the arrival of the kids has thrown a good wrench into things. I have 12 years of catching up to do, as well as a grandson to get to know. I am prioritizing things, and really wanted to get together with y'all. I just don't want to miss any time with the kids. Time flies as it is. Will give it a go next year. Sorry.
