How you gonna spread that?
Shoveling that into a hopper will take a while.
We usually have it spread by the fertilizer company.
Are you rich enough to have a loader and a spreader and enough time to run them?

Cattle barons have all the fun toys.
The local ag office has a lime spreader that they rent out.

Morning / Evening All. Light cloud this morning so not quite clear enough to see stars or Aurora, the moon is so full that it is shining through.

2 on most. Then another ton next year. Some is getting 3 this year. AG agent explains the reason for doing it this way far better than I can.
Just out of curiosity I did the maffs on the product per acre ratio that is suggested for the lime product sold here for lawns

Suggested application is 545 pounds per acre

I have to be careful spreading this because the maples and larches and spruce love acidic soil so I keep it away from the raised beds
